Keychain-only credentials

Account passwords and App Passwords are stored in macOS Keychain. Never written to disk or sent anywhere.

Direct TLS connections

Knokk connects straight to your email provider. No Knokk servers sit in between.

No analytics or tracking

Zero telemetry. Knokk has no usage data, no crash reports, no analytics pipeline.

Isolated webview sessions

Each messaging platform runs in its own isolated container — no cross-account cookie leakage.

Common questions.

Which email providers are supported?

Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail, and Proton Bridge out of the box — via IMAP presets. Any other IMAP/SMTP provider can be added manually.

Does Knokk have access to my emails?

No. Knokk connects directly to your email provider over TLS. Your credentials are stored in macOS Keychain and never leave your Mac. Knokk has no servers.

What's an App Password and why do I need one?

Google, Apple, and some other providers require an App Password instead of your regular password when signing in from a third-party email client. Knokk includes a step-by-step guide — it takes about two minutes.
