Need help with Zlurp?

Common questions about file compression, supported formats, and how Zlurp works.

Common questions

Where are my compressed files saved?

By default, Zlurp opens a Save panel so you choose where to save. You can also drag the result directly out of the result window into Finder.

Does Zlurp work offline?

Yes, completely. Zlurp does not require an internet connection. All processing happens locally on your Mac.

What formats can Zlurp compress?

Images (PNG, JPG, HEIC, WebP, AVIF, JXL, GIF, SVG, TIFF, BMP), videos (MP4, MOV, M4V), audio (M4A/AAC, WAV, AIFF, CAF, ALAC, FLAC), PDFs, and Office documents (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, EPUB).

Can Zlurp convert between formats?

Yes. Images can convert to GIF, SVG, PDF, MP4, or another image format. PDFs can convert to an image series or MP4 slideshow. Videos can extract audio or export a frame series.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. All processing is local on your Mac. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
